This number indicates how many feats total in that category are completed ready to be counted towards the next evolutionary leap. When you have looked through all of the information and viewed the completed feats, the option to perform an Evolution Leap is possible. The Evolution Leap is a large jump in time. Hundreds of thousands to millions of years of time will pass. This amount of time is based upon the completed evolution feats. The more feats completed, the more time that will pass.īy selecting the Evolution Leap choice, a tally will begin and time will begin counting for all feats you have completed. On screen pop ups will shows the feats completed and the amount of extra time you have gained for those feats. The timeline on the bottom will begin moving towards the right and the counter will begin counting down years you have earned through exploration and discoveries.Īn evolution feat summary will appear and indicate the feats completed, the amount of years you have gained, and how close you are on track with what science predicts evolution should be. Time is then tallied and taken away for deaths. After that time is tallied and added for births. A final summary will appear and show your overall summary. If you have progressed enough in time, you will reach an evolution milestone and a screen will appear naming your new species. Basalt Chopper – The process is as simple as finding two pieces of basalt and banging them together. Find some basalt and follow the instructions on the screen. Bang the basalt together to create a basalt chopper. The Basalt Chopper can be used to craft Sharpened Sticks. It takes only 3 hits to craft a Sharpened Chopper once you can find a dead branch and strip it. You can also use this to chop predators for meat, open a coconut for drinking, and defend yourself from predators. Obsidian Carver – While this tool is not as useful as Basalt Chopper but it is easier to craft as there is plenty of obsidian to be found on the map. The Carver speeds up the process of sharpening sticks, it only takes 6 blows to craft instead of 15. You can also use these to open coconuts for drinking, getting meat from dead animals, and attacking predators. Granite Grinder – It is a simple took to craft as you need to find two rocks of granite by using your intelligence. Granite is normally found in groups of 4 and is found near savanna.
Hold two rocks and hold the alter button and follow the on-screen instruction, and listen to the audio cues. Bang them together to craft a Granite Grinder. Granite Grinder can be used to tools many found in the wild such as Khat. You can enhance the tools and change their attributes.In the game, players guide a hominid from a third-person perspective. As players continue to make new discoveries, the hominid become more intelligent and capable, and new skills such as using leaves to make bedding and medicinal plants to heal themselves are unlocked.
If the player character dies, players will shift to controlling another clan member. If all clan members die, the lineage becomes extinct and players need to restart the game. The goal of the player is to ensure the hominid clan's survival as it slowly evolves and becomes a new species.
